  12.    Thank you for considering SON-net as an addition to your bbs.

  14. We support both the QWK/REP and FIDO message standard for message flow.
  15.  
  16.   QWK/REP:  The originating hub is The Seed Sowers BBS located in
  17. Toronto, Ontario. (416) 498-5259/5962.  Connections to SON-net can
  18. be made through the Rosemail door for any hubs or nodes wishing 
  19. to connect with the network.  This is definitely the best method to
  20. echo!

  22.   FIDO: We also support the FIDO message standard.  BBS's may transfer 
  23. Fido type of mail in SON-net the following ways:  
  24.     
  25.     - 1).  If you are a member of IMEX then you can receive your feed
  26.            through the IMEX network.  SON-net is affiliated with IMEX
  27.            and can feed nodes from any recognized IMEX hub in North 
  28.            America.  The only condition is that you join and become
  29.            a valid member of the IMEX network.  IMEX requires a minimal
  30.            charge ($1) monthly from all nodes (which in many cases would
  31.            be much cheaper than long distance charges).  Call the Seed
  32.            Sowers BBS to download a IMEX application.

  34.      - 2). If you don't wish to join IMEX but would like to still echo
  35.            using the Fido message standard, you may use a program called
  36.            FidoQ.  This program takes QWK/REP files and converts to the  
  37.            Fido message standard.  You would have to receive your feed 
  38.            from a recognized SON-net QWK/REP bbs hub.  FidoQ may be
  39.            downloaded from the SON-net COMMENTS conference on the
  40.            Seed Sowers BBS.  The only charge would be the registration
  41.            fee to the author of the the FidoQ program.

  43.      - 3).  Directly echo the fido messages with (currently) the Seed
  44.             Sowers BBS as the hub.  This would involve calling a hub
  45.             (currently Seed Sowers) and you would use Front door on
  46.             node 2 (498-5962) to send/receive mail.  You would receive
  47.             your nodelist from the Seed Sowers BBS.
